DIY: Sewing kit

I promised a fun (and quick) DIY-post. So here we go :)

I made this one for a really good friend of mine. She loves everything connected to being creative and those weeks she stays with us, we're normal busy finding one project after the other.

Because they are also doing a lot of sewing at school I thought her own sewing kit would be a great idea for a birthday present.
Inspiration from pinterest (This one).

What you'll need (totally optional)

I went with:
- needles
- glitter
- ribbon
- fabric
- crafty stuff
etc. (This is absolutely up to your desire!)
and of course: and empty egg carton. Label removed.

I cut the fabric to smaller pieces, sewed a little pin cushion and made the egg box more into a sewing kit like fashion.
Easy peasy!

I should mention that I started stitching only recently so please don't judge :)

To form a "flat-second-pin-cushion" I added two layers of volume fleece and sewed it between two layers of fabric. Glue it to the top. Ready.
